Urgh, our uni was the same! They felt the need to run fire drills for every building several times every semester. We even once had one during a special event guest lecture that the university had set up. :S

Guest lecture, not a good time for fire alarm to go off at all xD

First time it happened, I was off for 15 mins lunch and coudln't get back to the office after that (The three light curves I just plotted and my ipad were the only two things I didn't want to get caught on fire). Second time I was in the (nude) figure sketch class... wish I had more time to enjoy the beauty of the Art. *sigh*
